1. Legal mentions

• Jurisdiction: Swiss law applies. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Biel/Bienne, Switzerland.

2. Service description

Wellosite provides website migration services: transforming CMS-dependent websites (WordPress, Webflow) into static, AI-native sites. Each migration delivers:

• A GitHub repository containing the rebuilt website
• A business knowledge base (docs/ folder)
• A personalized AI guide for site management
• 30 days of post-launch support

3. Pricing and payment

• All prices are listed in EUR and are one-time payments
• Payment is due before migration work begins
• Hosting costs (Vercel/Netlify free tier or paid plans) are separate and paid directly by the client to the hosting provider
• Domain registration and renewal costs are the client's responsibility

4. Scope and limitations

• Content sites only. We do not migrate e-commerce functionality (checkout, carts, product catalogs)
• We migrate existing content as-is. We do not create new content, copy, or designs unless explicitly agreed upon (Custom tier)
• The rebuilt site is a static site. Dynamic features that depend on a CMS backend (user login, real-time search, server-side forms) are not replicated

5. Intellectual property

• The client retains full ownership of their content (text, images, branding)
• Upon delivery, the client owns the rebuilt code repository entirely
• Wellosite retains no rights over the delivered code or content
• The Wellosite brand, website, tools, and methodology remain the property of Lambert Le Court de Beru

6. Client responsibilities

• The client must have the legal right to the content being migrated
• The client must provide access to their existing site (CMS exports, credentials if needed)
• Font licenses: some fonts used on the original site may have restrictive licenses. The client is responsible for ensuring font usage complies with their license terms

7. SEO disclaimer

We implement industry best practices for SEO preservation during migration (301 redirects, meta tag preservation, sitemap generation, schema markup). However, we cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, as these depend on factors outside our control (Google algorithm changes, competitor activity, domain authority).

8. Liability

Wellosite is provided "as is." We make every effort to ensure a smooth migration but cannot be held liable for:

• Temporary ranking fluctuations during domain transitions (expected 1-3 weeks)
• Third-party service outages (hosting, CDN, DNS)
• Content accuracy (we migrate what exists; we do not fact-check client content)
• Damages resulting from the client modifying the delivered code after handoff

9. Support and warranty

• All tiers include 30 days of post-launch support for migration-related issues
• Support covers: broken links, redirect issues, rendering bugs, deployment help
• Support does not cover: new feature development, content creation, redesigns (these are separate engagements)

10. Termination

Either party may terminate the engagement at any time. If the client cancels before delivery, a partial refund may be issued based on work completed. Once the GitHub repository is delivered, the service is considered complete.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
